Hi Guys,
The day 18 players to play Maramarua GC was a testing tee off as viewing the 1st fairway we were lucky to see 60 metres because of the very thick fog that had covered the course, this made scoring very difficult as nobody played to his handicap.
Calvin West had the top score with 33 pts, runners up on 31 were Colin McCrae, Neil Plowright and visitor Ben Telford.
With the Kiwi Coach Challenge Colin McCrae was -2 and Neil Plummer -1 the only two who were under par.

As you can see, on the right, Polly was very happy to sit on that guy’s head, Lloyd Dowd, he had trouble getting 21 pts … but a member who drove to the course and was not eligible to wear Polly, had 20pts.???? initials B.C.
Thanks to Wayne Cuthbert for stepping in as C. Captain for the day and Paul Shaw who looked after the thirsty bus travellers.
